Good Ol' Days!

I love the phrase “good old days”.

Yesterday I attended the farewell ceremony of my cousins organized by their school. Without having much expectations I went there just to pass time and also to see my cousin who was performing (playing guitar and singing) at the event.

Some of the segments really exceeded my expectations. The qaseeda burda shareef recited by a group of girls, the skits with deep messages, the patriotic speeches, the songs, the awards presented to toppers, all were managed very nicely. What swept me off me feet was a video played to cherish the memories of those students from early school days till their last days.

Somehow, I found a lot of purity in this event. Something I didn’t see ever in corporate events and parties.
Took me to my school days – had time, very little money, but a lot to enjoy about.

May be we have time today! May be this becomes a real “good old day”. Live today!
